How to choose a tarpaulin？

What is a tarpaulin?

Tarpaulin (or tarp) is a kind of waterproof material with high strength, good toughness and softness. It is often used as canvas (oil cloth), polyester with polyurethane coating or made into polyethylene plastics. The tarpaulin usually has strong nooks at the corners or edges to make it easy to tie, hang, or cover with ropes.

How to choose a tarpaulin？

1. Rub the PE tarp repeatedly and soak it in water for one minute to check whether the PE tarp is permeable. (Note: waterproof PE tarpaulin does not absorb water and does not absorb water but does not leak).

2. Test the tear resistance and wear resistance of PE waterproof cloth. Lay a small piece of PE tarp on the concrete floor. Take the right amount of weight and rub it back and forth 20 times. Observe its surface, no hair, no fluffy, can withstand 200N tension without breaking, then this is a good PE tarpaulin.
