How to choose insect nets in summer

1. Reasonable selection of insect nets
When choosing a bug net, consider the mesh number, color and width of the mesh. If the number is too small, the mesh is too large, it can not play the proper insect control effect; Too many, the mesh is too small, although it can prevent insects, but poor ventilation, resulting in high temperatures, too much shade, is not conducive to the growth of crops. Generally, it is advisable to choose 22-24 insect prevention nets. Compared with summer, spring and autumn, the temperature is lower, the light is weak, should choose white insect nets; In summer, in order to shade and cool down the whole, black or silver-gray insect nets should be selected; In areas where aphids and viral diseases are severe, in order to avoid aphids and prevent viral diseases, silver gray insect control nets should be selected.
2. Insecticidal disposal
Seeds, soil, plastic shed or greenhouse skeleton, framing materials may contain pests and eggs. Before planting vegetables, the processing of seeds, soil, shed skeleton, and frame materials must be stopped, which is a key link to ensure the cultivation effect of insect net coverage.
3. Guarantee coverage quality
The insect-proof net should be completely closed, pressed with earth around it, and fixed firmly with a compressed film line; Entrance and exit of large, middle shed, greenhouse doors must be equipped with insect-proof nets, pay attention to close immediately when entering and leaving. The height of the tappet is significantly higher than that of the crop to prevent the vegetable leaves from being close to the insect-proof net and prevent pests from eating or laying eggs outside the net. There is no gap between the insect mesh and the transparent cover for exhaust closure to prevent the entry and exit of pests. Check and repair holes and gaps in the bug net at all times.
